European Innovation Council (EIC) Project Writing Camp on “How to Create Winning Short and Full Proposals for EIC Accelerator” was carried out in İstanbul on 23 January 2024 and conducted by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) under the “Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase II” Technical Assistance Project which is co-financed by the EU and the Republic of Türkiye and implemented by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology within the scope of Competitive Sectors Programme.
TÜBİTAK European Innovation Council (EIC) National Contact Point Ms. Merve Diyar Kaya made the opening speech of the event including 120 participants. Following the commencement speech, Ms. İlayda Atabey from the İstanbul Chamber of Industry which hosted the event took the floor and informed participants about the Enterprise European Network and İstanbul Project Academy.
The event which serves as the 10th Project Writing Camp event for SMEs went on with the Sabanci University representative Ms. Alara Ürey's presentation on EEN2EIC Activities. Afterward, thematic sessions got underway and EIC Expert Mr. Serkan Bolat delivered a speech on EIC Accelerator- Support for Deep Tech Innovators. Following Mr. Bolat’s speech, Team Leader Mr. Odysseas Spyroglou made a presentation on “How to Write a Winning Short Application?” and “Step-by-Step Guidance on Short Proposal Writing and Pitch Deck/Video Creation”.
The afternoon session of our one-day-long event was enriched with the presentation of Training Coordinator Mr. Nikolaos Floratos on the proposal writing types about the winning EIC Accelerator application. Our event which attracted a myriad of participants from İstanbul and its immediate cities came to an end with the presentation of EIC Jury Mr. Gürcan Ozan on “How the Jury selects the winners?" and a Q&A session with the involvement of all panelists.
